I'm Nicole Noechel, a recent graduate of the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism. I have always had a passion for writing, but realized I wanted to pursue journalism as a career when I began working for my high school newspaper, The Explorer. I have a special passion for entertainment journalism, especially music journalism, but I'm a very curious person who enjoys writing and learning about about a wide range of topics. I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, but currently split my time between Okemos, Michigan (where my parents live) and College Park, Maryland.
